Marie-Noelle Couture has been born in Versailles and grew up in a world of artists with her mother actress and her father author. They always supported art.

At the age of 23 she leaves France in direction of Montreal. After a few years in Morocco, Tahiti and Reunion an adventurous trip to Austria begins and she settles in Vienna. Here she starts her artistic activities. In her collages on canvas she expresses cosmopolitanism.

These collages are cocktails of coloured pieces of stripped papers from past times taken from magazines and posters. They allow us to travel into a world of fantasy and “tra-la-la”...
